We do this work because we've seen what's possible when someone finally breaks free.

Erica Tringali, LMHC - Founder & Clinical Director
"Before founding EAST, Erica spent years in the high-intensity world of credit derivatives on Wall Street. She understood that world, the pace, the ambition, the strategy and genuinely valued it. But she also saw, up close, what that environment does to people who are performing at the highest level while quietly running on empty.
When the 2008 financial crisis hit and her firm was taken over, she found herself at a crossroads. She left finance because she wanted to understand something more important: how people get stuck, why high achievement so rarely produces the peace it promises, and what it actually takes to change at a level that lasts.
She trained specifically in EMDR and trauma-informed approaches because she believes and has seen that real change requires nervous system-level work. Talking about the problem has a ceiling. She wanted to work beneath that ceiling.
She founded EAST to build the practice she wished had existed, one that combines genuine clinical rigor with the kind of relational honesty that actually moves people. She's not interested in a large practice or a franchise. She's interested in a small team of clinicians who share this philosophy completely and bring it to every session.
Her clients say she has a gift for seeing what you're really struggling with underneath what you think you're struggling with. She's warm, direct, and won't let you off easy if you're not being honest with yourself. That's not a warning - for the right client, it's exactly what they've been looking for."
Every clinician at EAST works from the same foundation.
The East Method isn't applied loosely across a team of people doing different things. It's a specific way of working built around the belief that most of what keeps people stuck comes down to a core belief formed early, living in the nervous system, and running the show until it's actually addressed.
Every clinician at EAST is trained in this approach. That means you're receiving the same standard of care: the same commitment to going beneath the surface, the same use of EMDR and neuroscience-based technique where appropriate, and the same relational honesty that makes the work actually move.
We work collaboratively as a team. Your therapist knows your work isn't happening in isolation, it's held by a practice that cares about the outcome.
